Tips to Eliminate Smell Stale Milk from Carpet

Bacteria will cause the stench of stale milk. When the milk spills on the carpet, cleaning it at as soon as possible is the best solution to minimize the odor. If the milk spill settles and is not cleared immediately, this condition will cause an unpleasant odor that will start to smell after a day or two. In addition, you can also do some of the following!

1. Wet one rolls of paper towel or tissue with water to remove as much as possible the spilled milk. If the milk has settled for some time, press the wet paper towel onto the carpet to moisten the stain and relax the carpet fibers.

2. Pour lemon juice into the carpet and rub with a fluffy brush. Dry it again with a wet paper towel.

3. Sprinkle baking soda in the spill area and leave for three to four hours. Baking soda will absorb the acidic smell of milk.

4. Vacuum carpet with a vacuum cleaner when it is dry.
